We act as a tour organizer and booking facilitator, coordinating services with local suppliers.

3. Bookings & Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment and written confirmation from ouriceland.is.
  • Prices are quoted in the agreed currency and are subject to change until booking confirmation.
  • Any special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

4. Payments

  • Payment schedules and amounts will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Payments must be made within the specified deadlines.
  • Failure to make payments on time may result in booking cancellation.
  • All bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion fees are borne by the customer.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

a) Cancellation by the Customer

  • Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email.
  • Cancellation charges depend on suppliers’ policies (hotels, airlines, activity providers).
  • Some services may be non-refundable or partially refundable.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting cancellation fees and transaction charges.

b) Cancellation by ouriceland.is

We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to:

  • Unavoidable circumstances (weather, natural events, strikes, safety issues)
  • Insufficient participants (for group services)
  • Supplier issues beyond our control

In such cases, a suitable alternative or refund (as applicable) will be offered.

6. Changes to Itinerary

  • Minor changes to itinerary, accommodation, or transport may be required due to operational or safety reasons.
  • Any significant changes will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
  • No refund will be provided for unused services once the tour has commenced.

7. Travel Documents & Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and other required documents.
  • ouriceland.is is not responsible for denied entry, visa refusal, or immigration decisions.
  • Customers must comply with local laws, rules, and instructions provided by guides and service providers.

8. Health, Safety & Insurance

  • Customers are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
  • Participation in activities (snowmobile, husky safari, icebreaker cruise, etc.) is at the customer’s own risk.
  • Customers must disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation.
  • ouriceland.is is not liable for injuries, illness, or accidents during the tour.

9. Liability Disclaimer

  • ouriceland.is acts as an intermediary between customers and service providers.
  • We are not liable for:
    • Delays or cancellations due to weather or force majeure
    • Loss of luggage or personal belongings
    • Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers
  • Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid for the booked services.

10. Pricing Errors

While we strive for accuracy, errors may occur.

ouriceland.is reserves the right to correct pricing or itinerary errors and notify customers before confirmation.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of ouriceland.is and may not be used without prior written consent.
